Pay Per Click


A pay per click campaign can be a fantastic way of attracting customers to your website. This works by a search engine showing your advert (either above or to the side of the natural search results) when certain terms are searched for. This allows your advert to be targeted at an appropriate audience, and you only pay when somebody clicks on your advert.  However, it is also very easy to waste money on pay per click advertising if it is not closely monitored.

Mediaworks can setup and manage a campaign for your company. We will track click fraud (your competitors clicking your adverts), research keywords, track conversions and ensure the highest possible Return on Investment.

Search Engine Optimization


This is a longer term strategy whereby we aim to rank your website as highly as possible for certain keywords / key phrases. Depending upon industry competition, we aim to see results between 6 and 12 months. These “natural” results are seen as being more respectable by searchers, and receive far more clicks. Best of all, the clicks are free of charge. The search engine optimisation process consists of “onsite” and “offsite” changes.

Onsite changes may consist of changing your websites structure, copy and layout. It will also include adding / altering Meta Tags. A website that looks good, may not necessarily be the most “search engine friendly”, therefore sometimes good looking website need to be altered.

Offsite optimisation includes a 12 month link building campaign. We will research your industry and find related websites who will link to your website. This arrangement may involve a reciprocal link back to the linking website.  We will also submit articles / press releases to respected websites and submit your website to the most relevant directories.


What are people doing when they reach your site?

Mediaworks install tracking software onto each of our client’s websites. This allows us to access a vast amount of information, which we then analyze. The information we gather can include:

• How people are finding your site
• What people are doing when reaching your site
• What are the most popular pages on your site
• How many people are completing “goals” – buying products / submitting details / submitting contact form
• Geographical information on site visitors


This information can also help our clients track the effectiveness of offline marketing campaigns. Each month, we run a site performance analysis which will look into how we can improve aspects of the website, implementing necessary changes. Our report also includes a rankings update, whereby we show you the exact improvements in your rankings on Google, Yahoo and MSN.  We can send you a copy of the report, and arrange a monthly meeting to discuss its performance.
