Following the boom in the late 90’s/early 2000 when companies first realised the power of e-commerce and online business,  more and more small businesses found themselves sitting on the World Wide Web with a website that they got sold with the sales-pitch of “everyone has one”.  But the classic quote from the movie Field Of Dreams “If you build it, he will come” doesn’t ring true when it comes to business.
